"Crystal Clear" (2-03-22)

A Poem by Al Hubbs

A transparent crystalline thickness reflects dazzling sights
Underlying coat covers fertile fields of lives
Cold chatter with composing nutrients bearing fruit in beds of nocturnal warmth
To melt in and nourish to see new spring forth

Al Hubbs (a contemporary poet)'s Self Bio: “I am looking beyond written 'histories' for truths that are intentionally disguised within words by way of using modern terms.”

If “Crystal Clear” nail polish can be a “color”; so can “crystal clear” in a poem.

Although gone in less than a day, the above scene greeted me when I stepped out onto our mini deck.

This is just fabulous. I really love the clarity of the icicles and the blue sky, the silhouetted trees, a truly beautiful image, and of course, just perfect for the poem. V

I just love the up-view and the windswept sky behind. Frosty color are nice too. V
