I know that the plant that we North Americans think of as a "Christmas Cactus" blooms in the Spring and Summer months in the Southern Hemisphere; rather than the late Fall and Winter. So maybe this pretty, yellow Schlumbergera thinks she lives in Australia. Her blooming now certainly came as a very pleasant and welcome May surprise here.
