Not long after we were married, I bought over 100 daffodil and tulip bulbs & planted them at our first home. Over the years, they multiplied. When we moved from the East Coast to the Midwest, I dug up all those daffodil and tulip bulbs and took them with us. Unfortunately, none of the tulips survived and only a few of the daffodils did.
However, this is one of the three surviving daffodil varieties that keep coming back to life (on their own) year after year. I think there may be 5 or 6 bulb clusters in total. Each Spring, it feels very special to me when they come to life. Even a late season snow this year didn't stop them.
