In Memory of Those Lost 9-11

For those old enough to remember, 9-11 is a difficult anniversary in American History. Our country lost its innocence. In the single deadliest terrorist attack on US soil, 2,977 Americans lost their lives. I’m old enough to remember & still tear up when I think about watching the second plane hit the twin towers on live TV before both towers came crashing down.

A third plane was flown into the Pentagon near Washington. Passengers on the fourth plane, likely bound for the White House, retook control of the aircraft and crashed it into a field in Pennsylvania.

Today is a solemn day in American history.
A prayer goes out for all the innocents lost.

COVID in the USA on 9-11-2020

“Today, Friday September 11th 2020, marks six months since the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a pandemic.

“When asked who the American public should listen to — the President, who claimed Thursday that the country is ‘rounding the corner’ of the pandemic, or himself — Fauci said people should trust facts.

‘I say look at the data; the data speak for themselves. You don't have to listen to any individual. And the data tells us that we're still getting up to 40,000 new infections a day and 1,000 deaths. That is what you look at. Look at the science, the evidence and the data and you can make a pretty easy conclusion,’ he said.

Responding to comments made by an attendee at President Trump's rally Thursday night, who said he wasn't wearing a mask because this is ‘fake pandemic,’ Fauci called it a ‘tragedy.’”

That was a horrible day that I remember very well. My husband used to work in the Trade Center but fortunately had switched jobs a few years before. He was there for the first bombing. So many families from our town and the surrounding towns lost loved ones that day. This beautiful hibiscus is crying like we all did and still do when remembering the events of 9/11.
As far as the idiot in charge and his foolish followers let’s hope we can vote him out of there in November. What scares me is his nutty minions might start a civil war.
Dr. Fauci is “the man”. We all need to listen to him.
