If seeing a 3 or 4 pound dog walk around in a red party dress (like it's a normal thing to do)
doesn't make you smile at least a little,
nothing will.
Just 3 years ago, I would have never imagined putting a dress on a dog (except for a professional photo shoot). That just wasn't my thing. However, for some reason, dresses seem to suit our current 3 mini girls. I actually bought this dress as a Christmas present for Chile (shown), Bella, & Bailey to share on special occasions. It wasn't a gift from a friend or a photo prop I got to take home. I actually selected it myself. Although the dress is an xx-small, it seems to fit Chile the best because she's the largest at 4 pounds on the nose. The dress also came in sizes up to xx-large; so it's not just Toy Breed owners who are putting clothes on their dogs. However, I can't image a German Shepherd prancing around in a dress...
Chile went through the rest of Christmas Day and all of New Years Day wearing this red dress. Although the sight of her in a dress would occasionally make us giggle, she seemed to feel it was normal. Our laughter makes her happy. Happiness is infectious.
