Straight from the North Pole 2017

I found this ornament during my 2017 Alaska trip.
Because I took the Alaskan Railroad, the train & RR crossing sing are also symbolic to me. That is in addition to the North Pole sign.
Most people buy specific Christmas ornaments because of some personal connection.

Strangely, the cloth of the T-shirt (that I bought the same day) disintegrated into a bunch of holes the first time I wore it. I've never seen such a thing happen before. The fabric popped so many holes that I was afraid I'd be topless before I got home. Guess Santa's helpers somehow ended up with super cheap fabric to turn into a briefly cute T-shirt. I would not recommend getting a T-shirt from the Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska: https://www.santaclaushouse.com/about.asp

Luckily, this Christmas ornament should have a much longer life than the t-shirt.
