As of 2019, not all of United long haul flights are flying the newer dedicated planes for their Polaris Business Class. "...some of the most modern birds in United’s arsenal are still sporting an older 2-2-2 layout in business class with limited privacy." However, the service is the same on the older planes. Not amazing, but okay.

Although still lacking privacy, I actually prefer some the planes being used with the old seat configuration because their cabin air quality is better than those planes I've flown with the "true" Polaris set up.
