The very first day of October, it was 92 degrees Fahrenheit (actual temperature) with 56% humidity. The Heat Index was extremely uncomfortable. That is normally July - not October - weather.

Because it was too hot and HUMID for us to do our normal 2 mile Fall walk, the dogs instead got an hour's playtime out on the deck. But we had to wait until early evening when the sun wasn't quite as brutal. Being at home, they were also able to take short breaks indoors in A/C to keep from getting over heated.
