Win or Lose, it's been an exciting game.
At this moment, the Chiefs are ahead by 3 points.
But the game is not over yet.

The last - and only time - that the Kansas City Chiefs won a NFL divisional playoff game was 1994. Remember Joe Montana??? Last week, the Chiefs finally did it again!!! So that makes today's game a "big deal" for the city. We're now only one step away from going to the Super Bowl. Today's game at Arrowhead will determine the Conference Championship.

Anticipation may be why Bailey and Chile are so wide eyed & holding paws.

UPDATE: The game went into overtime & (then partly due to a coin toss), the Chiefs aren't going to the 2019 Super Bowl.

On top of that, a heavy cloud cover moved in over the city. That meant I didn't even see the moon at all; let alone get any photos of the Lunar Eclipse. Two disappointments in one night. Oh well, we all still had fun celebrating our hometown team. So - thanks to my husband & the girls - I'll keep fond memories of the day.
