After being alone & very sick in Hong Kong for the last 8 days of my 7 week trip (respiratory thing from Shanghai), unable to work for most of the final week of my assignment (very frustrating), a less-than pleasant 36 hour journey back home (with the man next to me having a non ending gas attack for the 15 hour leg of the International flight), plus jet lag - where I no longer know if it's day or night - because tonight is actually tomorrow morning 14 hours later where I was; vs where I now am once again,

life is finally starting to get back to more normal...

Although this is just a casual photo, it is the first shot that I've taken of any of my fur gang since before I left for the Far East way back in October. I'm now just starting to decorate for Christmas at our house. Bella did her best today to help. Usually, I'm done decorating at least a week before now. To simplify life, I've decided to do the holidays a little more low key in 2018. And stay home for the Thanksgiving/Christmas Season in 2019!!!

When all is said & done, it's good to be home. Our family WILL be together for Christmas!!! Hurray!
