Not knowing what it was or "would do", I took the chance and bought this small, 1 1/2 inch bulb at a Cactus show a couple of weeks ago. At that point, it was still without any greenery. A few days ago, it started to put out several thin, tubular stalks. Now, those stalks are starting to curl at the ends: http://www.pbase.com/image/168039435
