Not unexpected for a sensitive 10 1/2 month old.

Chile had just gone through a 6000 mile trip; in which she found herself in 4 different, "unfamiliar" overnight places along the way. She also went from hand to hand of 3 different, "strange people" taking care of her: all in less than a week.

In her original home, she had been treated as a family member. She was bonded to her breeders. Had she just been a "kennel dog" things would have been easier for her. However, she was a house pet; as well as a show dog.

So it will now take her a bit of time to adjust to suddenly having a totally new family and now being in a "new world". Since she knows no English, the whole thing must be even more confusing to her. Considering all, she is very loving and gives lots of kisses.
