When I bought this plant yesterday, the clerk at the garden center commented that it seemed like our weather was going to go directly from Winter into Summer. With temperatures going up to around 90 degrees tomorrow (along with high humidity), it looks like he may be right. Like much of the country, our area had a cold April up until the very last week. That was followed by a very windy week of somewhat Spring temperatures; plus some severe Spring weather. May now seems to be air conditioning weather. IMO, 90 degrees outdoors is Summer weather.

Spring has disappeared. Instead, we're looking at weather as "hot" as the color of my new hibiscus.
