enjoying a delightfully warm, September day

This photo - from the not too distant archives - brings back good memories that make me look forward to more fun with Bella (& friends) that I know will come again later in 2018.

Meanwhile, it's now January with a horribly frigid minus (-)9 degrees Fahrenheit outside on the same deck seen in the photo. This current negative nine temperature will get even colder overnight & as we go into tomorrow morning. On top of the sub zero actual temperatures, there is an added severe wind chill warning that says the cold is dangerous to be outside for very long. Because of this extreme cold, area schools will AGAIN be closed tomorrow.

Luckily, when it is bitter cold outside, I can feel "warm" inside by just thinking of wonderful days like the one in my above photo. I know days like this will return. Meanwhile, Bailey and Bella are curled up together on the family room sofa under a blanket. You can't see them.
