The first 2 1/2 days that tiny, little Bella was in her new home with us, Bailey wouldn't stop barking at her. Bailey was not at all happy that we had brought a new puppy into the house. Luckily now (starting late afternoon on Day #3) Bailey has calmed down and realizes that Bella is not going to replace her. So there is now no reason to bark and fuss. Although she's still not buddies with the new baby, Bailey now more or less just ignores Bella. But those first days howere very noisy with non stop Bailey barking. Bailey wanted the puppy to go back where ever she came from... Bailey was jealous. Now, she's indifferent. The next step will be for Bailey to actually make friends with her new "adopted sister" Bella. That will take time.
