We've had a very odd Fall this year in the Center of the USA.
Today - only 4 days away from the start of Meteorological Winter - half of the folks in our neighborhood (my husband included) were out in their T-shirts and mowing the grass that is still growing and was getting pretty tall.
A large percentage of the trees here also still have green leaves. Normal peak Fall Color here is the Middle to Late October. The leaves, this year however, show no signs of turning color. Nor do the trees seem willing to let go of them. By today's date (November 27th), the branches of trees here are normally bare. Plus the flowers are normally long gone... But this is not a "normal" year.
