One of Kansas City’s favorite holiday traditions, the Holiday Express Train has been bringing Santa to Union Station for 13 years.

The train includes a flat car with Santa;'s sleigh & reindeer, three display cars (complete with a miniature North Pole village), a Caboose, and Rudy the smiling Holiday Express engine.

The Holiday Express was created by volunteers who donated more than 8,000 hours to transform retired rail cars. The train now travels to 6 States and makes stops in 20 cities; with Kansas City being the final stop where Santa visits for 4 days.
