Digital Zoom is not very good on even a fairly good cell phone cam in 2013.
However, after seeing Cell Phone cams come a long way during the past 10 years, I expect to eventually see an improvement in this area, too.
This will then be a photo to look back with and smile about continuing "progress". Even one of the best cell phone cams on the market was able to capture a memory, but the zoomed in image quality will the zoom function is still missing.
But it still is worlds better than my original 1 Mega pixel Cell phone Cam that had no zoom nor flash.
