Spicebush Butterfly

He wanted to come inside my house - probably to escape the extreme heat.
He also made it as far as the Solar Room. After taking a couple of photos, I caught and released him back into the wild. However, he just came back in!!! So I then left an outside door in the Solar Room open to allow this pretty butterfly leave when he was ready.

Unexpected encounters with Nature always delight me. Natural light; hand held shot.
