I went out to the Wildlife Refuge earlier this month but pretty muuch had forgotten about those photos until today. Truthfully, I got too busy with other things and hadn't even downloaded them from the card. This was a very vocal Eagle. However, it took a lot of patience to get a sharp photo of him crying out. Because of his angle, I had to hand hold the camera while photographing him in the shadows. I personally love photos of Eagles calling; so IMHO, it was worth the effort. Due to major changes in the Refuge's habitat, there are no longer as many Eagles at the Refuge close enough to photograph. Therefore, this was a very special moment to me.
