Rapidly moving wild targets and dark shade - alternately mixed with sharp contrasting lighting - made bird photography difficult. Although this guy is headed the other direction, he did pause long enough for me to snap a shot at ISO 3200. This was a triumph!
Tiri probably gave me my highest "miss" ratio of any birding session I've ever done. Still, Gail and I had fun. and we laughed a lot each time "one got away".
