Our Chihuahua Family: Multiple Galleries

BRITE STAR CHIHUAHUAS

*The story really started long BEFORE I went digital.*
Brite Star Chihuahuas had their start way back in 1979 when I was still just a very young kid myself. Those photos are on film. I have hundreds of photos of each dog that I have dearly loved. After I switched from film to digital imaging, this is the continuation of our Chihuahuas' "beyond the dog show ring" story.

Most of these Chihuahuas in Parts I and Part II are my homebreds, who go back to 11 generations of my own breeding.

----------------
*The original Brite Star "Family Moments" (2001-2013)*
is a story of love. Although the full story started when I was still a child & before there was digital photography, the story continues in the digital age with a 2 mega pixel camera.

----------------
*Family Moments II (February 2014 to December 2017)*
is the story of the continuation of love
as time moves on; with our homebred Brite Stars aging and additional "adopted" Brite Stars becoming part of the family.

----------------
*Family Moments III (January 2014 to December 2020)*
is the story of the farther continuation of love as time continues to move on. Sadly, some of the seniors in Family Moments II had sadly gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Others still remain in Part III. All those, now at the Rainbow Bridge, will always have a part of my heart. They will NEVER be forgotten nor can be "replaced". Dogs truly filling a person's heart is the difference between "having dogs" and "dearly loving dogs".

Love is what all these photo galleries are all about. Family moments warm the heart. These "family moments" will hold a part of my heart forever. Even mundane moments are also moments to treasure. Our Chihuahuas are furkids; not just dogs. They are family to both us and to each other.

----------------
*Family Moments IV (January 2021 to December 2024)*
is the tale of our small, adopted family of 3 girls
Although this is the smallest fur family, we've ever had, they fill our hearts.

Personal Note:

I believe in the Rainbow Bridge because Heaven wouldn't be Heaven without our beloved loved ones. Many of the dogs in these galleries are now at the Rainbow Bridge. The only downside of loving a Chihuahua is that they don't live as long as we do. Having more than one Chihuahua is also like having more than one child. Each one is special and unique. For this reason, I must believe that those furbabies (who we love & have gone on before us) wait until we are all reunited. The loss of each of our Chihuahua family members has taken with them a piece of me. Nevertheless, sharing my life - and allowing myself to love fully - has made me a better person. Although there have been more than one, each dog I've loved has been a "ONE and ONLY". Each one has opened my heart to be able to love others. I can't imagine ever being without a Chihuahua family.

Today, I now longer show breed.
Nevertheless, homebred or adopted, our Chi family members each enrich our lives every single day. Homebred or adopted, each individual is 100% treasured as a unique individual who is like no other. Each individual really is like no other.

The photos in these galleries show
a little of our Chihuahua family's (both past & present) interaction with each other.
These are our furkids. These are family moments.
