Some photos from our various coastal backpacks, rock climbing trips and a bit of sailing in the beautiful south west corner of the UK- mostly in Cornwall and Devon.

We have hiked 3 sections of England's 630 mile long South West Coast Path in April 2019, September 2020 and May 2023 (See our blog).
The path itself takes a huge loop round the south west tip of England from Minehead to Bournemouth through Devon, Cornwall and Dorset
In 2019 we walked a section from Bude to St Ives on the west coast of Cornwall.
In 2020 we carried on from St Ives round Land's End and Lizard to Falmouth.
In 2023 we picked up again from Falmouth on the south coast and walked east to Plymouth.

Rock climbing in this area is very pleasant with some lovely sparkling granite, warm weather and great scenery. In 2013, 2010 and 2006 we visited the Lands End area of Cornwall and in 2001 we headed for the island of Lundy. Lundy is an island situated off the west coast of Devon in England. We went there mainly to do some rock climbing on the granite sea cliffs but the island has lots to offer those who have an interest in fresh air and the outdoors. There is also some superb accommodation available from the landmark trust. We stayed in a converted castle looking out to the atlantic.
