Hi Markus. mmmm I think the Walk Highlands website is a good place to start https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/long-distance-routes.shtml
The best routes there IMHO would be the wilder routes such as the Cape Wrath Trail or the Skye Trail. In Scotland you can pretty much go anywhere in the hills so often people will just plan their own route using Ordnance Survey maps. I did start drafting a 'loop hikes' backpacking book in the past but other things got in the way! But feel free to mail me direct if you have questions or want to know more.

Dark, somber, mystical -- you capture MOOD beautifully! I half expect ghosts to be peering out of these shots, especially the one through the doors. Gavin, on the other fin, looks very much at home. In heaven (POD's heaven), in fact. Did he drink the entire keg?
