we used 2 single sea kayaks which we rented from Glacier Bay sea Kayaks. Each had a forward and aft storage area which could be sealed from the sea water. We managed to get about 17 days food and supplies into these. The weight seemed to help the stability of the kayaks but it was hard work carrying all the gear out to the campsite and back!
