We have now walked about 520 miles of about 640 in New Mexico and are beginning to feel trail hardened and used to the hot sunshine. The small town of Cuba provided a great welcome stopover for us. Fantastic calzone at the pizza place, grocery store, laundrette, hardware store all near our room in the Del Prada motel. The owner Hyangsun insisted that we have a homemade smoothie before we left town to climb into the San Pedro mountains. Martina went with her to get the ingredients from the local grocery store. The smoothie fortified us for the rest of the day- thank you!
