A 2 day backpack in the northern part of the Escalante catchment in southern Utah. We hiked into Bighorn Canyon, Upper Harris Wash, 'Cosmic Navel' and Big Spencer Flats for some surreal and superb scenery. Our camp in Harris was luckily high enough to be above a flash flood which came through the canyon overnight after some spectacular thunderstorms. Also see our hiking blog
