Dolomites Pala di San Martino camp


The Alta Via 2 is a very cool high level hike that traverses the Italian Dolomites mountain range north to south. With lots of ascent and descent and some scrambling- 'via ferrata' sections it provides a really fun 1-2 week hike. There are Refugio's along the way that can be used but I, Brian mostly wild camped starting 23rd August into the first week September 2023. Also see AV2 hiking blog
