I've always wanted to capture Wupatki National Monument in the snow...and with a couple new inches
thought this was the morning to make a visit. Unfortunately, the rules at the monument restrict any
hiking to the ruins when snow is on the ground (safety issue); so I shot this from the 'overlook'
near the Visitor's Center.

Very nice indeed. I think olivierbruning is right, it takes on an abstract quality from this distance without loosing its place in time. V

Nice shot under tour de force circumstances !! With all the lava ash around there they could not sprinkle it on the walks ????

Great Shot, very framable. I would be happy if ONLY we had that amount of snow. Thus far in Denver and surrounding areas we have had almost 6 ft. Gad!!!
