An amazing morning this was. I drove 17 hours to get to this location, and arrived within 15 minutes of sunrise. Sitting in the quiet of the morning, and watching the changing colors of the sky, my peace and solace was broken by the arrival of a busload of tourists who arrived at the North Window moments before sunrise! I have to say that the tour director had class, and brought the entire group off the arch before the first rays of the sun reached it. This photograph was taken within a minute of sunrise, and just after the last tourist disappeared from view.
