I love simple compositions, and this one fits the bill. Very similar conceptually to the "Aspen Study #1", this image was taken looking into an aspen grove, generally into the setting afternoon sun. I wanted to capture, with the use of some compressed perspective, the contrast in tone and color between this tree and those deeper in the grove. 1/60, f/6.7
