Pierre, These photos were taken last Winter (December 2004). I'm not sure, but I believe that the ridges re-appear as the flats dry out. This location is somewhat south and west from Badwater.

Very nice! But where did you see the geometric figures on the salt flats? I was there in April and it was all washed out (I thought they dissapeared due to the floods; did they reappeared later due to the heat or something? or was I just at the wrong place?)
