This image was captured on the same day that the ‘Illumination’ image was taken. Looking out from beneath the ‘arch’, and composing with some nearby pines gave this nice composition which lends some connection between the cave and the surrounding country. This was actually quite a ‘flat’ scene originally (that is, with very little range in light intensity), so I increased the contrast a bit in Photoshop to give the image just a bit of ‘kick’.
