Your pictures are so beautiful.....but this one especially touched my soul. I lost my second child at a week old, and always wondered what she would be like if she lived. Unfortunately, I have not a single good picture of her. But your son is a very special and wonderful part of your life, and from your comments you seem to have a grasp on his self and his soul and a wonderful patient understanding of the person he is. He is a very handsome child. A wonderful boy.....Mollie (justme1954@gmail.com)

I was looking at some of your pictures while looking up scenes from the Durango area, and saw the picture of your son. I also have a son with autism, and I try to make a point of communicating with parents of autistic children with messages of hope. My son is now 26, and sometimes it helps to speak with somebody from the perspective of having been through the growing up years, and to see the hard work and emotional investment pay off. In brief, my son is living in a group home, fully verbal (and then some!), happy and satisfied with his life. He even has a girlfriend now. He works in a sheltered workshop, doing woodworking and loves it.

Good luck to you. Your son will teach you the value of alternate realities and a chance at some very interesting persepctives on our every day world. Don't try to change him - meet him halfway and listen....he has much to say once you learn to hear his soul.

Good luck, and best wishes. Feel free to write.

No doubt, your boy is special and beautiful boy who deserves all the love in the world. As a visitor of your gallery I'd like to see more pictures of him

Indeed, my son is alive and very well! He exhibits a bit of autistic-type behaviour, however, which makes communication with him quite tough. The image was created after a challenging day - which had me contemplating what was really inside his heart and feelings...things he finds it extremely hard to express...

I do hope so. As soon as I've found this picture, I felt something really bad. Hey Brian tell us good things please.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to represent. I hope I'm wrong, but if it relates to the passing of a loved one, it is both very powerful and very, very sad. I truly hope I am wrong and that he is alive and doing well. – Tom
