In the foreground, the ridge of Mt. Tom; beyond it, the Holyoke Range stretches out to the east, beginning with Mt. Holyoke (the white Summit House is barely visible). To the left you see the Connecticut River, which runs between Mt. Tom and Mt. Holyoke.

Goat Peak, where I took this photo, is a great place to watch the fall hawk migration down the Connecticut Valley.
