Su Nuraxi was developed in five stages: four Nuragic stages (three Bronze Age and one Iron Age) and a fifth Punic-Roman stage. This dwelling is from the second or third stage, in the Bronze Age. In this period Nuragic homes were circular, one-room structures. The large number of millstones found in the area indicate the importance of agriculture for the inhabitants.
