Arsac and the Gironde, July 2003

We visited Isabelle and Francis for the weekend of July 14. Among other things we went to Cap Ferret, on the Atlantic Ocean, saw the largest lake in France (puny compared with Lake Champlain, let alone the Great Lakes), visited the picturesque town of Soulac-sur-Mer, and toured the wine country.
