These ran till about 1958 I believe.We had had the Suez Crisis in 1956 where our supplies of oil were interupted then they started to phase out Trolly Busses which ran from overhead wires ,power coming from the National Grid by burning coal of which we have in the UK about 200 years worth still unmined.
