To put things in perspective. This has to be one of the few legal walkable crossings of the Missouri river. This is a river that is 2,540 miles or 4,090 km long. It's likely the only one between Sioux City, IA and Kansas City, MO. It is definitely the only one for a city of nearly 1 million people. Gotta love the U.S. dependency on the automobile!!
