Cotswolds and Cornwall - April 2012

Nancy and I took a long anticipated trip to southern England to walk and hike in the Cotswolds and along the northern coast of Cornwall. The weather was a bit iffy but we enjoyed the hiking and sightseeing immensely. After we spent some time in the London area. Those pictures are in a different directory here.

What a beautiful array of photographs. I did not make it to Cornwall on my one and only visit to England/Wales/Ireland but these pictures gave me a feeling I'd been there myself. Loved Merlin's Cave (who hasn't read "The Mists of Avalon" or been thrilled by stories of Merlin), the black sheep comment...made me laugh out loud. Would love to learn a little about the Bridge of Sighs when you have time. The sink hole startled me a little as I know Florida runs rampant with them but never thought of them being in a land as old as England. Thanks for sharing - loved the tour.
