Nevada Treks, December 27-28, 2006

On December 27 I joined RonC on a half day jaunt past Black Butte near Fernley then to Jessup and the Hard To Find Mine. Weather was clear and cold with a nasty wind blowing most of the day. Trails were clear with little or no snow. On December 28 GaryY joined us for day-long tour beginning at Lovelock and including Trinity Pass, Seven Troughs Range, Tunnel Camp, Porter Springs and Nightengale and then back to Fernley. Gary brought his new LR3 for its first off-roading trip. It was a great day!!
