In July 2014 we took a two part trip to Newfoundland. For the first week our accommodations, itinerary and rental car were provded by Maxim Travel. The second week we joined a Road Scholar hiking trip for more adventures and sightseeing. Our trip started in Deer Lake and our first accommodation was at Rocky Harbor, close to the entrance to Gros Morne National Park. From there we traveled across Newfoundland with overnight stays in Twillingate and Bonavista to St. John's. The Road Scholar portion of the trip was run from Port Union.
