Baker Village archeological site

Near the small town of Baker, there is a well done BLM archeological site where Native Americans of the Fremont Culture lived during the mid 1200s AD. These dwellings were pit houses with earthen roofs supported by poles and wood beams. All of the ruins had been excavated and documented and then backfilled for preservation.
