We had called the night before and knew the "Road to the Sun" across the park was closed due to 21 inches of snow that fell the day before. We decided to go as far in as we could from the East and the take Hwy 2 around the Southern end of the park and go in the West side. It made for a long day but since we were motelling it in Kalispell it worked out fine.
