Grand Canyon - Life at the bottom August 2008

Having been to the Grand Canyon several times, our exploration continued in August and September 2008 with a river rafting trip from Lee's Ferry to Diamond Creek, some 225 miles. The trip was an Elderhostel program through Northern Arizona University. The rafts, river guides, food and equipment were provided by Arizona Raft Adventures (AZRA). A ten day program including seven nights on the river, this trip gave us an exceptional up close and personal experience with the canyon and river.
