Copper Canyon, Mexico February 2012

We decided to take the Road Scholar tour of Copper Canyon starting at Fort Davis, TX. Given the current security concerns it seemed to make sense to travel in a group. The tour company did a good job of keeping us safe but there were signs of heightened security on both sides of the border. We took a bus from Fort Davis to Chihuahua and boarded the train El Chepe for our trip through the canyon area. Our train stopped along the way and we ended up in El Fuerte where we took another bus for our visit to the Sea of Cortez. Then it was back on the train for our return trip.

thanks for the views. we had fun reliving our adventures through your pictures. we are still on the road snow in Red Lodge MT where we just helped daughter move to. good health and peace liz and bill

Thank you so much for your pictures; so much better than mine. I hope you enjoy the Cotswolds. I do have some good friends there called 'Hunt'. He is a professor at Oxford university. They live in North Leigh, which is near Witney. Anyway, take care. Hanne
