While I was in Pisa I had to wait 4 hours to climb the leaning tower. I came across this statue nearby and was quite taken by her grace and form. Before i knew it I had taken 300-400 shots of her. The challenge then became... How do I make this Statue different and interesting each time? It doesn't move. It has only one facial expression. One backdrop... You can't get more out of your model so as a photographer you have to get more out of yourself. It was a brilliant exercise. On the positive she was a real trooper. She never got tired and she never complained once...
