Ranua Wildlife Park in northern Finland was established in 1983. The leading idea and aim of the Wildlife Park is to offer clients living in the vicinity as well as tourists travelling from near and far the chance of seeing Nordic and Arctic animals in their most natural environment possible around the year. The park inhabits fifty wild animals, in the summer including also a Park of Domestic Animals. Difficult species to photograph like Lynx and Wolf are of special interest especially in wintertime. Brown bears are let out from winterhibernation in the end om march (this year 17th March).
I visited the park 2 days and concentrated on Otter and Lynx but where very lucky to vitness the male and female Brown Bear tumbling around in the snow on the first day let out this year.
