REPPE STÄRKELSEFABRIK
Located near Växjö, the production of starch and later syrup started here in the 19th century. The factory was shut down in the autumn of 2018 and is now demolished (spring 2019)
LINDSHAMMAR
Lindshammar - "the glassworks with color" - was founded in 1905 and was active until 2009 when it went bankrupt. No activity has occurred here since 2011. Most famous production is the 37.5 meter high obelisk standing at Sergels torg in Stockholm.

VIRSERUM
In Virserum there are still narrow tracks from the path Växjö-Västervik (891 mm). Here the memory of former railway days is cared for and every summer you have a nostalgic time with the opportunity to go on the track and shop in the old kiosk.
KYRKÖ MOSSE BILKYRKOGÅRD
West of Ryd there are som old car-remains along the road. Some are very old and time has been cruel to their "finish"
LESJÖFORS
Remains of the old ironworks founded in 1675 and bankrupt in 1985.
YTONG
Between 1943 and 1971, the lightweight concrete ”Ytong” was produced in Grönhögen (Öland). The defunct factory still stands abandoned and no one is willing to pay for the extensive demolition and clean up needed. In parts of the buildings manufacture of wooden shoes continued in 1973, but later in 2012 this was also closed down.
