Cuba

Together with Susanne I went on a 16 day trip to Cuba. The trip was arranged by Rolf's bus from Sweden and had 2 guides present the hole trip - Cuban Dorio and Swedish Anki.
Highlights included four days in Havana with visit to Hemingway's Finca Vigia House and his bars in Cojimar and Havana.Further visit to Cienfuegos and Trinidad with sugar plantation, Bi-CI taxi tour in Camagüey. Visit to Trinidad's Basilica to see the Virgen del Cobre and Hemingway's Nobel Prize. Two nights in Trinidad with visits to Santa Ifigenia Cemetery (where Castro is buried) and Moncada where Castro made his first attempt to overthrow the regime in 1953. On our way back to Havana, we stayed in Santa Clara to take part in Che Guevara's part in history and visit his burial chamber.
